Loop heat pipe (LHP) is an efficient heat transfer device. It drives the flow of working fluid through the capillary force generated by the suction core in the evaporator, and uses the phase change process of working fluid to transfer the heat pipe efficiently. Compared with other traditional heat pipes, its biggest advantage is large heat transfer distance and anti gravity operation.

A typical loop heat pipe consists of evaporator, condenser, liquid reservoir, steam pipeline and liquid pipeline, which drives fluid circulation and long-distance directional heat transfer by capillary force.
